回顾中华民族的历史长河，无数为国家抛头颅、洒热血、无私奉献的民族英雄至今活在我们心中。古代，有南宋的岳飞，明代的戚继光，郑成功……近代以来，为了保卫国家，反抗帝国主义的侵略，更是有许多仁人志士为捍卫民族主权而慷慨就义。新中国成立以后，有很多杰出人物，如邓稼先、华罗庚、钱学森等等，他们放弃国外荣华富贵的生活，回到贫穷的祖国来，为国家的现代化建设贡献自己的力量。这些人的光辉形象和他们可歌可泣的动人事迹，永远激励着每一个中国人奋发向上!
爱国精神，是不分国界的。不仅在中国，在世界许多国家中，爱国教育也是极受重视的。
美国一个普通的乡村教师说过一句话：“不懂得热爱国旗的学生，无论他多么出色，都不是好学生。”在美国，热爱国旗是一件极其平常而又非常光荣的事。在波兰，每一所学校都专门设有爱国主义教育课程，并使之融入政治、历史等科目中。在泰国，爱国主义教育，是每个学生必不可少的一门课程，政府极端重视对青少年进行民族传统和爱国教育。最具特色的是韩国，它把爱国主义教育渗透到社会生活的各个方面。韩国人历来以使用本国产品而引为骄傲。可见，爱国主义精神是全世界人民共有的宝贵财富。

近期，嫦娥三号登月，“玉兔”号月球车登陆月球等等。中国的经济飞速发展!我国国民生产总值排全球第二，相当于第六至第十的五个发达国家的GDP总和;发起建立亚投行，主导覆盖欧亚大陆海域的一带一路经济计划;最近强势加入SDR(世界货币特别提篮权)……这些，都是我的祖国强大起来的证明!

我这次演讲的主题是“祖国在我心中”。我们是炎黄子孙，是龙的传人，每当看到冉冉升起的五星红旗，每当听到响亮的《义勇军进行曲》，我总是热血沸腾。
汹涌澎湃的长江、黄河，壮美的山川大地，展现出祖国的磅礴气势;万里长城征服了无数瞻仰者。冰山上的雪莲教会了我们纯洁;海风中的乳燕教会了我们乐观;黄河边的山丹丹教会了我们热烈。面对着祖国的大好山河，我的心中总是涌起无限的自豪感。
我爱那“飞流直下三千尺”的庐山瀑布;爱那“日出江花红胜火的”江南;爱那“两岸猿声啼不住”的长江三峡;更爱那祖国几千年来的灿烂、悠久的文化。 祖国的文化像长江、黄河一样自源头滚滚而来：四大发明，造纸术、印刷术、指南针、火药，个个都在世界文明发展进程中起到了非常重要的作用;那读上去韵味十足、朗朗顺口的唐诗!那吟上去铿镪有力、寓意深长的宋词!那唱上去柔意情深、婉转动听的元曲!令世界人民陶醉其中;中国的四大名著为世界文化的辉煌灿烂添砖加瓦……
可谁能想到，这美丽的国家，却饱受了风霜，经历过了千灾万难呢?20xx年9月18日，日本帝国主义用炮弹轰开了我国东北的大门，不到几个月时间，东北三省就被他们侵略、占领;八国联军像强盗一样夺走了圆明园中价值连城的奇珍异宝，然后放火把这个皇家园林毁于一旦;鸦片战争，不仅使中国人金灿灿的银子像流水一般流入英国人的口袋，让中国人迷恋着它，让中国人面黄肌瘦、骨瘦如柴……
可是任何困难都压不垮我们，新中国成立后，祖国日新月异，每天都有新变化，新举措。我们的生活越来越好，越来越幸福。但是，同学们，祖国的未来将由我们创造，时代的接力棒要靠我们相传!作为一个中华少年我们应该好好学习，成为祖国的建设者，让我们的祖国变得更加繁荣富强。同学们，祖国在我们大家心中，我们应该为之而付诸努力，为祖国献出自己的力量!

又有多少人，身在异国，可是那颗热烈的心却留在中国呢?又有多少人写下了一句句赞美“中国母亲”的诗篇散文呢?......这许许多多感人的故事萦绕耳畔!
是啊!伟大中华人民站起来了，中国强大起来了!瞧!那滔滔江水，莽莽昆仑，连绵不断的山峰......这都属于我们伟大的祖国。奥运会场上是什么换来了一次有一次的冠军?是辛勤的汗水，是不懈的努力支持这他们努力再努力，刻苦在刻苦，才使他们完成了艰巨的任务。“神七”早已成功升空，中华儿女期待这他们完成这样艰巨的任务。

自从党带领着人民打败了外国侵略者之后，我们的祖国正在飞速发展之中，然而有些外国人还是瞧不起我们，于是，许多爱国志士便都投入了祖国的建设事业中。
邓稼先这个名字大家一定都很熟悉吧!它就是原子弹和氢弹的研究者。1958年8月，在外国留学的邓稼先谢绝了导师的挽留，怀着一颗滚烫的赤子之心踏上了归途，回到了新中国。但是，外国已研究出了非常先进的核武器，而在这方面，中国仍旧就是一个空白。1958年党中央决定研制中国自己的核武器——原子弹。这时，邓稼先站了出来，他毅然接受了研究原子弹的任务，当时，研究核弹的工作是非常危险的，但邓稼先决定要为国捐躯。1964年10月16日，随着一声巨大的轰鸣，一朵无比壮美的蘑菇云升上了天空，中国的第一颗原子弹在罗布泊的山空爆炸成功。1967年6月17日，在罗布泊的上空，中国的第一颗氢弹又成功地爆炸了。全世界震惊了!喜讯迅速传遍了长城内外，大江南北，这不朽的功绩使中国人扬眉吐气。
看着冉冉上升的国旗，你是否感到从未有过的激动呢?这是我们国家的象征，有多少人为这国旗做出了贡献，在观看升旗仪式的同时，你是否尊重那些在国旗里活着的烈士?那些为国旗做出贡献的人呢?我敢说有些人不是的。当我们对国旗行注目礼时，有的人在做小动作;当庄严的国歌奏响时，我们嘴里发出的声音却像蚊子似的无病呻吟。这一切难道是爱国的表现吗?别忘了，亲爱的同学们，那红旗里的眼睛在看着你呢!谁在做小动作?谁在低着头?高高飘扬的红旗全都知道得一清二楚。别人为升旗仪式是一件小事，它的意义大于一切!
我郑重地发出倡议：请你们尊重国旗，尊重那些在国旗里活着的爱国志士吧!
